Houzmatic devices are designed to work with standard Indian electricity supply of 220 Volts and 50 Hz frequency. Houzmatic is not liable for any irregularities or malfunctions caused due to irregular electric supply conditions.
Houzmatic devices are intended for personal use only and are not for resale or trading. Any non-compliance with this will be treated as misuse and may be subject to penalties.
Houzmatic offers an optional annual maintenance plan (herein referred as AMC) for its devices. This plan covers the cost of repairs and replacements for any devices that malfunction due to normal wear and tear. The cost of the annual maintenance plans are mentioned on the website as per the packages offered by the company.
Houzmatic provides free product warranty for a year for the client.
Houzmatic’s product warranty and AMC will be void in the following cases:
If the product is altered, damaged, dismantled, or repaired by unauthorized personnel.
If the product is not installed or used according to the instructions.
If the product is damaged due to loose connections, improper wiring, or overloading.
If the product is used in unsuitable operating conditions, such as high moisture, heat, or pressure.
Houzmatic devices require a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection of sufficient strength. Houzmatic is not liable for any irregularities or malfunctions caused by low-quality network connections.
The Houzmatic mobile app is subject to the terms of the Houzmatic Privacy Policy. Houzmatic has made every effort to provide accurate information on the mobile app, but the information may change frequently. Houzmatic is not responsible for the accuracy, usefulness, or completeness of any information, materials, or other content on the mobile app.
You agree to indemnify, protect, and hold harmless Houzmatic and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and distributors, and any program partners, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from all liability for any loss, damage, or claim arising from or related to your misuse or misapplication of the Services or otherwise for any breach of the terms of this Agreement.
You expressly understand and agree that neither Houzmatic nor any program partner shall be liable for incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use data, or other intangible losses (even if Houzmatic has been advised of the possibility of such damages), arising out of or in any manner connected with the Services.
A single automation plan must be used in a single home. Dividing or fragmenting automation plans between multiple homes is not permitted.
All light and fan appliances must be up to 7 Amperes. Exceeding this threshold can lead to device malfunction and may cause device burnout. Similarly, all AC and geyser loads must be up to 16 Amperes. Exceeding this threshold can lead to device malfunction and may cause device burnout.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, you agree to, and hereby do, release the Indemnified Parties from all loss, damage, or injury whatsoever, known or unknown, arising out of or in any manner connected with the Services, including the installation and use of the Houzmatic Devices. You agree that none of the Indemnified Parties will incur any obligation or liability for any such loss, damage, or injury to the maximum extent allowable by law.
Houzmatic is authorized to control the operation of devices and override user access in case of legal or operational requirements.
In the case of any disputes in terms of AMC validity, Houzmatic reserves the right to take the final decision in respect to the matter.
The policy remains effective from the date 1st September, 2023.
